How To Prescribe to Continues Passive Motion
Please contact American Medical Devices, Inc. We will be glad to discuss our equipment and its application for your patients.
If you wish to prescribe a unit, have your office contact us with patient insurance information, a current related diagnosis, and a signed prescription and we will contact the insurance for approval for the device. If approved we will contact your patient for delivery instructions and setup.
To prescribe a CPM unit for your patients to use at home we would need the patient information, insurance information and current related diagnosis. American Medical Devices, Inc. basically needs the same information you do for billing. Upon receipt of the above information we will contact the insurance company for approval. If approved we will contact the patient for delivery. Our certified rehab techs will schedule a convenient delivery time to set up the equipment and instruct the patient on the proper usage of the unit. We contact the patient frequently for scheduled motion increases of the unit. Our goal is to max out the motion on the CPM unit as patient tolerance permits. Our goals is the same as yours; to get the patient back to their normal activities of daily living.
